Job Overview
We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Node.js, Nest.js, and Python, React JS along with microservices design and event-driven architecture experience in for our GCC client — one of Europe’s top retail brands. Key Responsibilities
- Strong programming experience with Node.js, Nest.js, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or Solace.
- Proficiency in microservices design and serverless architectures.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Deep knowledge of Linux environments, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Experience with modern DevOps tools for CI/CD, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- Proven experience leading small- to medium-sized development teams and mentoring team members.
- Hands-on experience managing and delivering globalized IT projects across multiple regions in Sourcing and Retail Industry.
- Experience in reviewing existing implementations, debugging issues, and providing enhancement suggestions.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining technical and functional documentation.
- Node,js Certified Developer or Python-related certifications (eg. PCAP or PCPP) is a plus.
