We are hiring a Tech Lead – PHP / Laravel (AWS) for our GCC client — a globally recognized leader in professional services and consulting, operating across multiple international markets.SRKay Consulting Group is a consulting firm that helps Fortune 500 companies set up and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India. Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Define and implement scalable architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders for requirement analysis and solution design.
• Drive code reviews, technical governance, and mentoring of development teams.
• Design and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Integrate third-party services and manage document processing workflows.
• Ensure high-quality code, testing standards, and overall application reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across development processes.

Requirements & Skills

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel.
• Expert-level knowledge of PHP 8.x and Laravel Framework (v8+).
• Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and scalable web applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, SQS, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (e.g., BOX API).
• Expertise in PDF generation and processing tools like Dompdf and php-pdftk.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and microservices architecture (good to have).
• Strong understanding of application performance, security, and scalability principles.
• Proven experience in leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
